Statement by the Prime Minister on the 93rd birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada
The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today issued the following statement on the 93rd birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada:
“Today, I join Canadians and people around the world to celebrate the 93rd birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of Canada.
“Her Majesty has stood with Canadians through great change and transformation, and countless milestones. She is a guardian of many of our country’s traditions, whose enduring service has bonded generation after generation together.
“Many Canadians feel a deep appreciation for the Queen, and her devotion to Canada and to the Commonwealth. Her grace, leadership, and sense of duty are an example to us all.
“On behalf of the Government of Canada, I wish Her Majesty a very happy birthday and continued health and happiness.”
