Maybe it’s all the heart-shaped boxes full of chocolate, the teddy bears staring at us from Duane Reade’s windows, or the roses popping up at every corner bodega, but we’re feeling a little anxious about our V-Day date. Wait, scratch that — apparently, Waris loves us. Kind of. We flipped for the Lookmatic x Loeffler Randall collaboration, and now Waris Ahluwalia joins Lookmatic in a capsule collection, “Waris Loves You,” that’s got an arrow pointed straight at our tickers.
The range compromises of a standout pair of frames dubbed the ACE and, admittedly, they’re ace. The $130-per-pair models are available as both prescription specks and sunnies, featuring options in Cupid friendly hues like blush-pink, black, or white. “I wanted everyone to see the world the way I do, through rose tinted glases,” says the designer. Merci! Our favorite part? The little signature heart on each pair, Waris’ version of the varsity pin. So, are you calling us, or are we calling you?
