There’s no doubt that Delfina Delettrez’s jewelry is out of this world. We’ve always been fans of her innovative and colorful bracelets and earrings (especially that signature cartoon-eye design on her “Piercing” earrings) but the Italian jeweler’s fall ’13 collection takes things to the next level. It’s a serious trip to the outer limits — and we’re in love.
Inspired by UFOs, these ultra-luxe baubles show off Delettrez’s innovative new “shark attack” setting technique, which allows the jewels to look as though they are suspended in space. And, while this lookbook might be a bit trippy, Delettrez’s anchors her pieces in geometric shapes that make this collection feel classic and grounded. The best of both worlds, really.
