We’re not going to judge, but raise your hand if you weren’t all that diligent about your SPF use over the long weekend. We’re assuming there’s quite a few hands (painfully) up right now. We get it, it’s hard to remember to reapply sunscreen when you are out having a blast in the warm weather, but now you are paying for it with lobster-red, painful skin and looking for some sweet relief. Have you met our good friend aloe vera yet?

Though your relationship with aloe may be based strictly on sunburns from family beach trips of yore, the green leaf packs a serious, soothing punch that can benefit your skin on a daily basis, too. We’re talking ultimate moisture sans strange, jelly-like substance and smell.

It can be in anything from your shampoo to your body wash — even in your makeup!. So, whether you’ve had a blistery experience at the beach or you just want some everyday soothing, we’ve rounded up the best aloe vera products to start incorporating into your beauty routine now.

  1. It is refreshing to see that so many companies started to use beauty plant aloe vera for their products. however, there is only one company that has kosher and Islamic certifications for purity as well as International Aloe Vera Council certificate – that is Forever Living. And there is everything available: SPF creams, shampoos, conditioners, deodorants, even non-abrasive yet whitening tooth gel.
