After watching the performance of all the other teams playing in the tournament, Ukraine and Sweden would play their first match in Euro 2012 when they square off on 11th June in Kyiv.

Ukraine is going to make its Euro 2012 debut with a motivation to play in front of their home crowd. They are counting on their veteran players including forward Andrey Voronin to gel with young midfielders Andriy Yarmolenko and Yevhen Konoplyanka.

Ukraine has the FIFA ranking of 50. The team is weak in defense. The Swedish would prove to be the tough opponents rather easiest in the group. The probable starting lineup for Ukraine includes:  Andriy Pyatov, Oleg Gusev, Andriy Yarmolenko, Olexandr Kucher, Taras Mikhalik, Yaroslav Rakitskiy, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, Ruslan Rotan, Yevhen Konoplyanka, Andriy Shevchenko and Andriy Voronin.

On the other hand, Sweden has a history in the tournament where the Ukraine does not. Sweden have stood victorious in their past four matches and earned automatic entry for the tournament after finishing as the best second-placed side in qualifying.

The FIFA ranking of Sweden is 17. Sweden coach Erik Hamren has built a young and exciting counter-attacking side built around the mercurial talents of skipper Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Kim Kallstrom, who can change the game with a flash of brilliance. Sweden probable squad includes: Andreas Isaksson, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mikael Lustig, Jonas Olsson, Olof Mellberg, Martin Olsson, Seb Larsson, Rasmus Elm, Anders Svensson, Johan Elmander and Kim Kallstrom.
