Black Diamond Entertainments presented third annual LIGHT UP TORONTO with Melody Queen ALKA YAGNIK, a Bollywood concert on last Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Rose Theatre in Brampton, in association with Mirage Entertainments. Alka Yagnik with her mesmerizing voice along with one of the renowned Bollywood playback singer Chetan Rana attracted a sold out affair with about 900 in attendance.

Alka Yagnik proved why she is the heartthrob of millions of music lovers, credited with singing for over 700 Indian films and a seven-time winner of the Filmfare Best Female Playback Award. Alka Yagnik is also, one of the judges on the television show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge and Star Voice of India.
 
She thrilled the audience with all of her award winning songs, including “Ek Do Teen” from the film Tezaab; “Choli Ke Peeche” from the film Khalnayak; “Meri Mehbooba” from the film Pardes; “Taal Se Taal” from the film Taal; “Dil Ne Yeh Kaha” from the film Dhadkan; as well as “Ringa Ringa” from the Oscar winning film Slumdog Millionaire.

Along with her exceptional singing, Alka also kept the audience engaged with stand-up comedy and shayree (poetry)… for which she was applauded by the viewers.

The organizer Black Diamond Entertainments (BDE) is extremely proud to have pulled the event with such a phenomenal flair. BDE has added a new feather in its repertoire of promoting and organizing the events, conventions and galas of the international scale.
