Rod Stewart to sing at King Charles coronation
Rod Stewart is poised to be the covert main act for the upcoming coronation of King Charles, demonstrating the Royals’ trust in him. Despite several A-list British musicians, including Elton John and Harry Styles, declining to perform due to their busy touring schedules, the palace has been searching for prominent British talent for the televised event on May 6.
Having previously performed for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee shortly before her demise last year, Rod has always been a favorite of the Royals. While the palace is yet to make an announcement, it is expected that Rod will grace the stage and deliver some of his classic hits to the newly crowned King and Queen, with just a few minor details to be resolved.
