Two men have been arrested in Yirol West market for suspected involvement in the rape of a woman on Monday.
The two were among a group of four men who are alleged to have raped a Ugandan woman on Monday midnight at Barana Bar Loge and Restaurant in the market.
The Commissioner of Yirol West County Makur Kulang Liei confirmed the incident
And directed security personnel to speed up the manhunt for the other two suspects who are still at large.
The incident is said to have been carried out by men in military attire belonging to the Joint Integrated Unit (JIU).
“This is being treated as a criminal case and the victim has positively identified the men who defiled her. They will be arraigned before court”, said the County Commissioner.
