The Western Equatoria State Minister of Education Mr. Adel Senderi [©Gurtong]The acting Western Equatoria State (WES) Minister of Finance who is the State Minister of Education Mr. Adel Senderi said last Thursday that revenue collection in the State will determine the quality of services need by the inhabitants.

The acting Western Equatoria State (WES) Minister of Finance who is the State Minister of Education Mr. Adel Senderi said last Thursday that revenue collection in the State will determine the quality of services need by the inhabitants.

The minister made these remarks on Thursday while opening an 8 weeks training to strengthen the State revenue authority department at MIKESE Institute.

Adel said, “When revenue is properly collected, there will be quality service delivery and creation of jobs for our fellow brothers and sisters who are unemployed and it will also create new opportunities.”

The acting minister encouraged the workshop participants to be active and interactive in order to help and serve the people of Western Equatoria State.

The workshop facilitator, a United Nations Development Program (UNDP) specialist Mr. Olympio Ottipo told Gurtong that the participants will be trained in order to be train other trainers in the State since UNDP will not be here forever.

The workshop was organized by State Revenue Authority with participants drawn from all the Counties in WES.
