Ten-year-old Aruaris Lobwangamoi Naita was handed over by the Ikwoto County Commissioner Peter Lokeng Lotone to Budi County authorities.
Budi County Commissioner Morris Merisiya Kaunda told Gurtong in Torit that Naita from Chawua Boma of Napak disappeared at Loriyok town in May 2012 and was found after two weeks.
“My Ikwoto County counterpart found the lost boy at Tseretenya area after which he decided to take the boy to the state capital Torit”, he said.
Details on circumstances under which the Ikwoto County Commissioner managed to get the boy remained scanty although reports from Budi indicated that the boy was handed over to authorities by local leaders in Tseretenya.
The Budi Commissioner was in Torit on Friday to hand over his county’s contribution to support the SPLA and was accompanied by chiefs Faustino Lomong of Kerenge Boma and Marko Loriao Lodengmoi of Chawua Boma.
