Kuic appeared in Kuajok capital civil court on Tuesday for the ruling after he was found guilty of embezzling 524,370 South Sudanese Pounds which was part of the Greater Nile Petroleum Company compensation to the community.
The court gave Kiuc 15 days to return to the community in Ajak Kuaj Payam the embezzled funds.
Ajak Kuaj community only received 1,745,500 South Sudanese Pounds of the 2,269,920 that was paid by the company.
The community has instituted charges against Kuic for mismanaging public funds.
Speaking to the press soon after the court hearing, John Lal Chol who represented the community welcomed the court decision for upholding justice.
Chol urged the courts in South Sudan to deal with those government officials who are practicing corruption.
