Deng said the report came as a result of brainstorming between the humanitarian partners to see how the New Year will progress.

“The government of the Republic of South Sudan is appealing to the international community and United Nations Agencies to join them in addressing the needs of the people of South Sudan who just come out of the war,” Jonglei State Governor Kuol Manyang Juuk said.

Kuol urged the humanitarian agencies to support the government in development as partners.

“The report will be the reference for the future generation coming it is the part of history and part of nation building because it will enable people of South Sudan to know the role played by the humanitarian agencies,” Kuol said.

“I do recognize the role played by both agencies and NGOs as well as the role played by individuals because policies of organization are implemented by the people and if people are not committed then it will remain politics on papers,” the governor said.

Deng said to be precise RRC and partners have done a lot in responding to the emergency crisis caused by different issues leading to tribal conflicts, rebels movement and militia that have been disturbing population in Jonglei state.

Deng said with all those problems in Jonglei state, it is important for them to look at the facts on how best they can improve in 20113 with humanitarian partners.
