Governor Rizik instructed Ministry of Finance, Trade Industry and Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development to work with Ayat and Egyptian road companies to improve the 45-mile road condition within one week.

The short project come a week after governor visit to Juba were he returned with the information that President Salva Kiir will visit to Western Bahr el Ghazal state.

The state government held meeting at the state council of ministers forming a committee tasked with preparing for the president’s visit and come up with resolution of clearing the potholes on the road linking Mapel town to the state capital, Wau.

Already the state government has approved 50 fuel drums to be used by the machineries.

Yesterday, state governor Rizik Zackaria Hassan made his first visit to inspect the road condition.
