Kuol Manyang Juuk, the Defense Minister and Aleu Ayieny Aleu, the Interior Minister are expected to appear before the parliament next week.

The two are expected to satisfy the August House with details on government intervention on the incident including measures taken following its occurrence.

The move came following a motion presented by Twic East County MP, Hon. Deng Dau unveiling some facts on how the attack occurred and its consequences in the county.

The last week attack launched by David Yau Yau as claimed by the government had claimed 80 people and wounded nearly 90 others. It was widely condemned by activists including the international community.

On Monday government had urged the International community to declare David Yau Yau a terrorist operating in the country.

The attack is the second happening in Twic even after another took place in August this year.

The last week attack found there was no army on ground to protect the civilians from the rebel threat.
