The Speaker of the Parliament Manas Magok Rundial yesterday presented the bills to the House, saying they were being sent back to the parliament for further observation.

There were some observations by the President, Magok said.

However, he directed the bills immediately to the Specialized Committees of Information and Legislation without any deliberation.

The specialized Committees are expected to present the bills back to the August House on Wednesday.

The Media Authority, Right to Information and Broadcasting Bills were passed some months ago by the parliament in their final reading and sent to the office of the President for final approval.

The referral of the bills back to the parliament however, has raised some concerns from the media fraternity.
