“They should sit down with their people to bring into understanding that the current war does not isolate on their tribe in the country,” Giir said.

He said let those Nuer tribe residing in some parts of South Sudan need to feel free and understand that they are not being targeted by the army or anybody.

“Power struggle through bloodshed should not influence the entire country, for whoever needs power should not use violence but should go through democratic system,” Giir said.

‘The innocent people dying now are those to bring you on power, therefore, their lives are very important for you and for them,” he said.

He warned that the international community should not look at the crisis as a tribal conflict but should understand that the violence started just after an attempt coup by some individuals who were willing to overthrow the current democratic leadership in the country.
