Mr. Marcello Constantino, the Director General stated that the Ministry of Agriculture is like a scientific tool and people should work uniformly to achieve the common goal.
He added that few women working in the Ministry are going to be taken for trainming this year in order to build their capacity.
Marcello emphasized and urged the heads of department in the various departments to make a maximum use of the local media in the state to educate farmers on the modern Agricultural practices.
Mr. Marcello Constantino said that this year should be the year of punctuality, love, trust, motivation not the year of selfishness, friction and discrimination, self-reliant above all tribalism.
The meeting that started with the review of achievement from the Director of animal Mr. Edward Kissanga said last year people were not so committed and dedicated to their work and lacked accountability adding that since the new 2014 has come they have encountered some changes as most staff have become very serious with their work.
Mr Kissanga added that animal resources have not been allocated funds in the state to support the department which was their main challenge.
However, some messengers Mrs. Umjuma Victoria together with Jacqueline Evans said that last year they faced challenges like lack of trust on them specially when there is problem with one person, the administration takes it on all of them.
