Hon. Kuzee said the Nagori community launched a complaint to him about the church encroaching on to their land by extending its boundary.

He said the alleged expansion has caused dispute between the church and the community because the former did not negotiate it with the Nagori Community members.

Martin Adari, the state director of land said he was not aware of the extension of borders by the church. He however said the church claims to have land measuring up to 1000 by 400 metres.

Riroyo observed that the claim by the church is hard to trace since there is nothing on the ground to identify the boundary.

Hon. Mbugoniwia appreciated the county and land commissioners for the vital information they have provided him with.

The meeting resolved to pay a fact-finding visit to the area the following day (Friday) to get more information from the community in order to be able to resolve the dispute.

Eng. Richard Issa Mizani and Dimitri Manaya the ministry’s director general and technical advisor respectively also attended the meeting.
