The Mayor of Wau town has asked the people of his town to maintain peace and distance themselves from anything that may spark violence during the Christmas season.
“Let our people celebrate this holiday in a respective manner without hailing bad feelings towards one another…..“You have to be a good example before God as Christians without doing things that may be part of violence during your celebration.’’
Arkangelo Anyar Anyar also assured the people of Wau that security forces are ready to respond to any incident that may cause insecurity.
He however, warned against the use of fire wax as it may cause panic to some people.
