Residents of Wau town can now smile, after South Sudan’s state owned television, SSTV branch in Western Bahr el Ghazal state announced that it is back on air after being off for almost ten months now.
April 1st, 2015 [WAU] – “The TV is now back on air after it developed technical problems since last year in June 2014, about ten months ago,” said the Station Director, Alor Deng Koor.

“Our TV will from today (Wednesday) start running news programs at its normal working hours which is from 7 PM to 10 PM every day,”continued Alor.

Alor said the TV is currently seeking to increase its programing hours from morning hours which he was not specific about to midnight.

Wau TV is a national TV branch of South Sudan Television based in the Capital Juba.
