Karachi killingKarachi: At least 5 five people have been killed in Karachi and a half dozen injured including a woman on Sunday night. This was Godhra Camp, New Karachi where the fight began and there was a big horror in the streets. This was an exchange of fire between two religious groups known as Deoband and Barelvi.

The Police officials made the media know that two religious groups, Deoband and Barelvi, put fire on each other after a person Noor Mohammad who belonged to Barelvi sect was killed in a work of target killing as very popular in these days. Later on the spot, three more people, who were Ismail Abdullah, Sohail and, Bilal Yaqoob were killed and at least six other citizens, including women were wounded giving a big message of lawlessness in the area.

Abbasi Shaheed Hospital was given the dead bodies and the wounded people. According to local people there is a big tension among the citizens of the area as the firing has become a routine in the area which blocked the commercial activities in a very bad way. A heavy contingent, according to staff report, of law enforcers was urgently called at the scenario of incident but eventually they failed to control the bad situation of law and order, maintaining no peace in the area.

  1. Arent Barelivs also from India? Both Deobandis and Barelvis are from India.vast majority of Muslims in India adhere to the Barelvi movement. So are all the MQM Mohajir , Urdu speaking people from India. Ban also Deobandis and Barelvis and Urdu speaking people.
