‘‘Arrest me’’ says Advani for his role in vote scam scandal

LK AdvaniBJP leader, LK Advani on Thursday, while speaking in the Lok Sabha, objected to his party members being jailed in link with the scam and commented that if the government was arresting the whistleblowers the government can arrest Advani as well. On Thursday the scam of cash-for-vote rocked both Houses of Parliament with BJP asking for suspension of Question Hour to talk about the matter.

The Chief LK Advani (BJP Parliamentary Party) had given an observation a thing like notice for suspension of Question Hour in the Lok Sabha to talk about the original growth in the case. As the sources told there was a similar notice which was given in the Rajya Sabha by the BJP member Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The speaker, Meira Kumar read out a statement when the Lok Sabha met for the day, on Literacy Day and its consequence and then held the Question Hour.

There in no time, Mr Advani left his chair and stood up and raised his hand for consent to speak out. When the Chair did not permit him, other BJP members, along with NDA supporters JD-U, protested in an way which was really meaningful for the authorities.

Advani said, in the noise, two of his previous MPs – Faggan Singh Kulaste and Mahavir Singh Bhagora, have been sent to jail although they were just the genuine whistleblowers in the scam.

The Parliament was on a break till 12 pm and it later recommenced. The Lok Sabha was paused again till 12:45 pm. Thursday is described to be the last day of the busy session of Parliament.
