Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa is set to appear in court for the second day running in the inconsistent assets case today. Jaya will return to Bangalore for the 2nd day of her hearing in connection with a corruption case. Jaya was asked close to 400 questions yesterday and is likely to be answering 300 more questions on Friday.
Tamil nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa yesterday left the special court in Bangalore after having made her first appearance in the disproportionate assets case. Today Jaya returns to answer some more questions
On day one, amid tight security Jayalalithaa was able to answer just some of the questions from the long questionnaire. She requested the court to allow her to send the rest of the answers as written replies but the court out rightly rejected her plea.
After the proceedings on Thursday the CM choose to fly back to Chennai as it was evident that the court proceedings will last till Friday atleast.
According to sources close to Jayalalithaa, she is in a much more positive and better frame of mind today than she was yesterday.
Bangalore remains on high alert – the security as tight for the Tamil Nadu chief minister as she comes back to face the judiciary.
