Countrywide MQM membership campaign starts

Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) made an announcement Thursday morning declaring the beginning of their countrywide membership campaign, including Kashmir, Gilgit-Baldistan, and Azad Jamu.

The deputy convener of coordination committee of MQM, Anis Ahemd Qaimkhani expressed his thoughts at the press conference held at the Khurshid Begum Secretariat the day before and said that the decision of initiating the campaign at this moment is due to the increasing interest of people in the party and endorsement of political philosophy of the chief of MQM, Altaf Hussain. He further said that the decision was finalized in the committee meetings.

The campaign includes setting up of camps throughout the country to spread the political philosophy and ideology of the party as well as facilitate the general population by creating awareness. Party workers and elected representatives will be present at the camps throughout the day to help citizen speed up the campaign goal.

Mr. Qaimkhani further urged the people of Pakistan to take a step and speak up for their rights and help political parties determine solution to the basic problems being faced by middle and poor social class of the nation. He went on to explain how MQM has been facing conspiracies and overcoming the hurdles put forward by their opposition parties and moving forth. He also claimed that his party is the only party in the country standing for the rights of the poor and middle social class.
