The Department of Police in New Delhi celebrates over arresting two suspected terrorists belonging to Lashker-e-Taiba who were carry heavy explosives in the surroundings of one of the main railway stations of the city.

As the department feels proud over catching the terrorists before they could strike, the public feels a lot more insecure with threats of more of their partners roaming around in the city openly putting the security of the capital city at stake.

Spokesperson of Delhi Police Rajan Bhagat talked to the media and said, “We have apprehended two militants. We do not know as yet which organization they belong to. We are in the midst of a high-level investigation.”

The information about the arrival of these men in the capital city was given to the police by some intelligence agencies which were aware of the possible attacks on a few high-profile individuals present in the city at the moment. According to the initial investigations, the arrested could be members of the militant group Lashker-e-Taiba (LeT).

The police has refrained from providing any more information on the incident saying that strict investigations are in process and secrecy is out utmost significance in this matter.

The Press Trust of India reports that an anonymous police officer said, “The operation was launched to nab the two Lashkar-e-Taiba men after receiving inputs that the duo have entered the capital to carry out strikes.”
