Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani and Barak Obama are expected to meet on the 27th of March during the Seoul summit which is going to take place in South Korea. The announcement was made by one of the senior government officer on Friday.

As per initial arrangements, it is informed that the concerned had to go through a little bit of trouble trying to get in touch with the concerned authorities in White House. However, with much effort, the meeting was finally arranged and is going to be the first one-on-one meeting between the leaders of the two countries after Osama bin Laden was discovered from Paki land.

Pak-US relations took a serious hit after America’s most wanted man Osama bin Laden was discovered taking refuge in Pakistan. The matter further got out of control when American orders from White House ordered their teams to attack in Paki land without informing the concerned authorities in Pakistan and conducted an uninformed operation. Following the cold war between the two countries, America’s drone killing 28 Pakistani soldiers on Pakistan’s ground became the biggest issue with Pakistan halting NATO supplies to Afghanistan for an unlimited time span.

Matters of allowing NATO supplies to once again use Pakistani’s resources for taking their supplies to Afghanistan is under discussion in the Parliament of Pakistan.
