The Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani expressed his thoughts on Monday at the meeting with the Vice Premier of China Le Keqiang on his tour to China and said, “China’s friend is our friend and China’s enemy is our enemy. We consider China’s security as our own security”.

Prime Minister is visitng China to refresh the ever flourishing friendly relationship between the two countries and said that those who are considered enemies in Beijing are considered enemies of Islamabad as well. Strengthening the bond he also mentioned that security of China is of utmost significance to Pakistan. In fact it is just like Pakistan.

Mr Li is expected to be the next Premier of China as the current government completes its tenure.

Speaking on the occasion, Gillani also expressed that Pakistan is looking towards friendly relationship from all its neighboring countries including India. PM is also expected to pay a visit to India in the coming days.

According to information from various sources, Li also commented on the occasion and said, “No matter what changes take place at the international level, we will uphold Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. China supports Pakistan’s role in regional and international affairs.” The reaffirmation of friendship from China has come after a long time since the death of a Chinese national in Peshawar.
