Supreme Court of Pakistan has directed the counsel of Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani to complete their set of arguments by Wednesday. The announcement was made on Tuesday in the afternoon regarding the contempt of court case of the PM.

The bench of judges led by Nasir-ul-Mulk gave their verdict on Tuesday demanding Aitzaz Ahsen to complete all relevant evidence and arguments in the case of the contempt of court by PM by Wednesday so that the verdict of the case can be announced at the earliest, alongside the verdict of the other case of graft cases against the PM. SC instructed Ahsen to not waste anymore time of the court as he waited quite long for the books of reference to arrive to the court from where he had to quote evidence in favor of the statement of the PM over the graft cases.

During the hearing which took place today, Ahsen once again urged the judges to announce the verdict of the NRO implementation cases once the decision about the contempt of court case is announced. He also asked the SC to make sure that the proceedings take place according to the law as the current composition of the judges for the case violates Article 10-A.
