The deputy president of MIC Datuk Seri S. Subramaniam claimed on Tuesday that none of the opposition parties have any planning or agenda to help solve problems of the Indian community in Malaysia and expressed that all the promises these parties are making to the innocent Indians are fake.

Adding to his comments he said that the Indian community will not be fooled or influenced by the deceptive tactics of the opposition parties and will not vote of them in the upcoming general elections. He gave his opinion after being questioned on the absence of the advisor and the chief of the opposition party (PKR) Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the meeting in Klang which was arranged by the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf). The meeting took place on Monday and was not attended by any of the members of PKR. Subramaniam used the opportunity and commented against the opposition team concluding that they are not concerned for the welfare of the minorities in the region and that their promissory claims are all false. The meeting which took place was arranged with the intention to explain the 100 day plan for the Indians of the region, in case Patakan Rayat comes to power.

The information chief of Hindraf said that he was rather disappointed at the least bothered attitude of the opposition leader Ibrahim regarding the activities of the organization.
