The leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif spoke to the media on Wednesday and announced the schedule for rallies throughout the country to ensure that the current convicted Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani is removed from his seat.

Without giving the exact details about the rallies, the leader of the political party announced that these protests will take place all over the country at the same time and if Prime Minister still does not decide to step down from power, it should be transformed into a long march. He also said that exact details of his plan for the removal of a convicted PM will be announced once the Supreme Court has given out a detailed version of the implication of the punishment given to the PM. Supreme Court of Pakistan said on Wednesday that a detailed account of the verdict of the punishment by the court is yet to be released and therefore no petition and request regarding the removal of the PM could be addressed until the final verdict is released.

Nawaz Sharif also announced that the first phase of his rallies will start from the 4rth of May from Taxila which will move to Gujranwala on 7th, then Sargodha and Bahawalpur the next day and in Multan on 10 May.
