Chiding the Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra, MNS chief urged the electorates to vote for a wiser option in the upcoming elections. He said the Congress-NCP government in Maharashtra should be stripped and beaten up on the street for its drastic performance.

“This Raj Thackeray is standing before you as an option. When polls come, don’t get confused. Else, nobody would be able to save you,” he said.

Raj was addressing a rally at Amravati where he lashed out the government over issues including corruption, Marathi unemployment, cow-slaughter and tiger poaching. He also blamed the general public for allowing the officials to manipulate them by throwing money bags and playing the caste card to get reelected.

Talking about Prithviraj Chavan, Raj said, “This man was chosen by Sonia Gandhi. And he gives interviews expressing helplessness about everything and citing coalition compulsions. Nothing makes a difference to the thick-skinned.”

Raj said he has told Ratan Tata to set up a Taj resort in Tadoba. He also announced his new project on setting up a cow shelter in every district of Maharashtra saying “the cow’s progeny must not go to the butcher.”

On the other hand, police has detained two Maharahstra Navnirman Sena (MNS) supporters for attacking the office of Indiabulls on Sunday night. Ten-fifteen alleged members of the MNS pelted stones at the security cabin of the main gate of Indiabulls Finance Centre at Elphinstone and broke the glass window of the cabin. According to bystanders, the attackers were shouting slogans against Indiabulls and in praise of the MNS.
