As per court hearings Wednesday morning, four more people are suspected to be connected to the case of the murder of Prue Bird 20 years ago.

During the hearing, the police authorities informed the Melbourne Magistrates Court that the three of the people in question are already in custody of the police whereas the fourth suspected individual is still at loose. The statement of one of the suspects has been recorded already, whereas the two remaining will be collected shortly. The updates came from the case of Leslie Camilleri who was charged with murder of the teenage school girl, Prue Bird, during the last week.

Luke Exell, the prosecutor informed the court that the case will require at least 10 statements from different witnesses according to the statement recorded by Leslie. It will also require reviewing about 120 statements already recorded in reference to the case in 1992.

The police believes Prue was murdered and stashed away in the area of Flat Rock Creek which is Cann River Town in East Gippsland. Forensics and local police are searching the area to find hints about remains of the victim.

According to the proceedings at court, no bail request was filed by Camilleri. His next appearance before the court is scheduled for June 20.
