Qantas Airline confirmed that they had handcuffed a man on flight after he severely started to threaten the staff on Thursday. The staff handcuffed the man with the help of other passengers on the plane. The incident took place while the flight QF648 was flying towards Melbourne from Perth in the morning.

The man handcuffed was given under the custody of Australian Federal Police as soon as the flight landed on the ground around 6 am. Different passengers on the flight confirmed that the man arrested had threatened the staff on a number of occasions. They also informed the media that the staff of the plane had to use cable ties to hold him. One of the passengers, Rob said, “The guy quietened down a bit” after that. Otherwise, he was disturbing not just the staff members but also other passengers on the plane due to his loud volume.

Media has yet not been informed about the exact threats the man made to the staff of the airlines. He had to be cuffed and taken to the front of the plane to ensure he was not disturbing other passengers anymore. That is when the man got back to his senses and remained calm after that, said passengers.
