David CameronU.K. Prime Minister, David Cameron has positively delivered his New Year’s message and quoted Olympics and Queen’s Diamond Jubilee as the key factors in regaining Britain’s true greatness.

Mr. Cameron has stated that although 2012 would be difficult too due to the current economic struggles and squeezing of household finances. However, the coalition is still looking for the solutions and soon would be able to help people get through the major problems. He has further added that this year will prove to be one in the favor of Britain and will help them to regain their strength.

Mr. Cameron has commented on the Olympics and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee that the Cameras and TV channels around the planet will be recording these magnificent events. These will help by enabling them to gain an extraordinary incentive to look outward, look onwards and to look their best and feel pride in their true identity and strength to achieve anything.

The premier has further gone to promise voters that he is aware of the problems they face both in the jobs market and household bills’ expenditure payment as inflation has disturbed the household budgets. He has also guaranteed that action is being taken in both areas and soon would be resolved.

He has showed his determination to remain committed to his idea of the Big Society in which issues across a variety of sectors are resolved and infrastructure is improved and the U.K. focuses on what it is best at.

Mr. Cameron has told that the Government had “clear and strong plans” to bring down the deficit, which were giving “some protection from the worst of the debt storms now battering the euro zone”.

“We have gained security for now – and because of that, we must be bold, confident and decisive about building the future,” he has said.

The general secretary of the GMB union, Paul Kenny has stated that Cameron has simply failed to recognize that current strategy for an economic recovery adopted by the Government is not working as living standards in the U.K. has dropped by 5.9%. Government action has cut U.K. GDP by 3.4% and killed the recovery under way when it has taken over the office.
