Newspaper headlining the birth of the royal babyBuckingham Palace has made the announcement that the Duchess of Cambridge has given birth to a baby boy – the future King.

The crowds outside St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, west London have also been informed regarding the birth of Prince.

The baby was delivered at 16:24 BST, weighing 8lb 6oz.

Kate Middleton was spending Tuesday with her little prince and not expected to leave hospital before tonight at the earliest.

The Duchess of Cambridge and her newborn son, together with Prince William, were said to be “all doing well” and “could not be happier”.

The royal couple have said in a statement: “We would like to thank the staff at the Lindo Wing and the whole hospital for the tremendous care the three of us have received.

“We know it has been a very busy period for the hospital and we would like to thank everyone – staff, patients and visitors – for their understanding during this time.”

The royal couple have not released any information yet about the name of the new born.

Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton have visited their newborn grandson in the hospital. The newborn prince is Mr. and Mrs. Middleton’s first grandchild.

Carole has told that the baby was “absolutely beautiful”, adding: “They’re both doing really well, we’re so thrilled.”
