On Sunday, March 13, 2011, the St. Patrick’s Day 5K Run/Walk will take place with proceeds going to the Achilles Track Club of Canada.

This event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

Participants will assemble on Bremner Boulevard, east of Rees Street, at 9 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., the 5km run/walk will proceed along the following route:

– Bremner Boulevard (Rees St to Lower Simcoe St),
– Westbound Bremner Boulevard
– Northbound Spadina Avenue (northbound curblane only),
– Eastbound Clarence Square,
– Eastbound Wellington Street (two southside lanes),
– Turnaround west of Yonge Street,
– Westbound Wellington Street (2 southside lanes),
– Westbound Clarence Square,
– Southbound Spadina Avenue (northbound curblane only),
– Eastbound Bremner Boulevard.

Dispersal Area: Bremner Boulevard (Rees St to Lower Simcoe St)

Vehicles in the area may experience traffic delays due to this event.
