Two men have been taken to hospital as the result of a head-on collision which occurred today just before 1:00pm on Highway 11 north of the Cocagne Bridge in Cocagne. A 71-year-old Sussex area man and a 45-year-old Bathurst man remain in hospital in serious condition. Both men were the lone occupants of their vehicles.
The highway will remain closed for several hours. Traffic is being re-routed.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
