The autopsies on the bodies found in a field in the area of 215 Street South of Stony Plain Road in the city’s west end on Wednesday afternoon have been determined to be homicides.

The victims have been identified as 72-year-old Perry Kit Wong and his common-law wife 71-year-old Eloise Fendelet both of Edmonton. The cause of death is not being released at this time.

Homicide investigators are once again asking for information from the public concerning the couples disappearance. The pair were last seen December 27th by a friend. Friends and co-workers became concerned when the couple failed to return to work on January 3, 2011. They began their own inquiries in an effort to locate the couple. When they felt they exhausted all possible avenues they contacted police. They were listed as missing by police January 18, 2011.
