On April 30, 2011 at 11:30 am, RCMP Selkirk Detachment were notified that 16-year-old Dezeraja SMOLJANOVICH of Grand Marais had not been seen since April 28, 2011 at about 4 pm at home in Grand Marais, Man.
RCMP investigators believe that SMOLJANOVICH is in the company of 32-year-old Jonathan CLARK from Ile Des Chenes, Manitoba, who is reported to be a recent boyfriend and her former high school teacher. The pair may be in or heading towards the greater Vancouver area.
Dezeraja is described as 5’6”, 100 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes with a birth mark on her forehead.
Jonathan Clark may be using the name “Mike” Clark. He is described as 5’10 – 6’, thin build, 150 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes.
The pair is believed to be travelling in grey, 2005 Honda Accord, licence plate: FJB 398 Mb.
