On Friday, April 29, 2011, 23 Division officers arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 2:40 p.m., the accused followed a 43-year-old woman off a TTC bus in the Albion Road/Highway 427 area,
– while the woman waited in a bus shelter for another bus, the accused sexually assaulted the woman.
Clifford George, 47, of Brampton, has been charged with:
1) Criminal Harassment,
2) Sexual Assault,
3) Indecent Act,
4) Fail to Comply with a Recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Monday, May 13, 2011, room 202-F, at 11:30 a.m.
Police believe there may be more victims.
