Officers from 12 Division’s Criminal Investigation Bureau have arrested a 21-year old woman in relation to thefts of money and credit cards from people receiving treatment at Trillium Health Centre – Mississauga.

It is alleged that during the months of April and May 2011, the suspect entered patient rooms at Trillium-Mississauga and removed money and credit cards from patients’ drawers and closets. After completing the thefts, the suspect would leave the hospital and use the credits cards at various stores to make fraudulent purchases.

Khosa PARMBIR, a 21-year old woman of no fixed address, is charged with nine counts of Theft, nine counts Use of Fraudulent of Credit Card and one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

PARMBIR appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Friday, May 20, 2011.
