Toronto man stabbed in neck to survive, Ahmaddin Nasry charged

On Wednesday, June 8, 2011, police responded to a call for a stabbing at 2821 Birchmount Road. 

It is alleged that:

– the accused stabbed the victim, a 40-year-old man, in the neck.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Ahmaddin Nasry, 35, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1) Attempted Murder,
2) Aggravated Assault,
3) Assault with a Weapon.

He was scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Thursday, June 9, 2011, room 412, at 10 a.m.
