Members of the DRPS Professional Standards Branch arrested a DRPS officer today following an investigation into drug-related criminal activity.

On Wednesday June 15, 2011, investigators with the Professional Standards Branch arrested a veteran DRPS member following an investigation into allegations of drug-related criminal activity. At the time of his arrest, the accused was assigned to general patrol duties within Central East Division in the City of Oshawa.

Jamie BROADSTOCK, age 35 of Whitby is charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Trafficking in a Narcotic.

The accused appeared for a bail hearing.
