On Sunday, June 19, 2011, the Much Music Video Awards will be taking place at 299 Queen Street West. On Friday, June 17, and Saturday June, 18, there there will be rehearsals leading up to Sunday’s event.
As a result, the following road closures will be in effect:
– Friday, June 17, 2011, John Street between, Queen Street West and Richmond Street, starting at noon,
– Friday, June 17, 2011, Queen Street West, between McCaul Street and Beverley Street, from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.,
– Saturday, June 18, 2011, Queen Street West, between McCaul Street and Beverley Street, from 5 p.m. to midnight,
– Sunday, June 19, 2011, Queen Street West, between McCaul Street and Beverley Street, from 9 a.m. to 4 a.m. the following day.
Due to these road closures, it is anticipated that traffic disruptions will occur within the downtown core.
