Following notification of his family, the RCMP is releasing the identity of a man killed in a single-vehicle collision on Howard Brook Road, near Hartland, N.B., on June 17, 2011.

The victim of the crash was 39-year-old Forrest Eric Bell, of Coldstream, N.B.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Background:

Members of the District 7 RCMP are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred on Howard Brook Road, in Howard Brook, N.B., near Hartland, on June 17, 2011, at approximately 9 p.m.

The collision occurred when the victim’s vehicle left the road, went over an embankment and down into a ravine.

The driver of the vehicle, a 39-year-old man from Coldstream, N.B., was pronounced dead at the scene, as a result of injuries he sustained in the crash.

The cause of the collision still under investigation.
