North District Major Crime Unit, E Division Serious Crime and Mackenzie RCMP Detachment continue to investigate the death of a McLeod Lake man.
In the early morning hours of July 3rd, 2011, Mackenzie RCMP Members were called for an assault incident which occurred in the small community of McLeod Lake, 30 minutes south of Mackenzie. Upon attending, members met a female subject who alleged she had been assaulted by a local man.
Police can now confirm the deceased is 56 year old Bruce Norman ARCHAMBAULD from McLeod Lake. 42 year old Madison REID has been charged with one count of second degree murder. She is schedule to make a court appearance in Prince George today (July 5, 2011).
