On Tuesday, August 2, 2011, the Toronto Police Service issued a news release requesting the public’s assistance locating a wanted man.
On Tuesday, August 2, 2011, 41 Division officers, with the assistance of York Regional Police, arrested Elbert Crafton Edwards, 49, of Toronto. He has been charged with:
1) Aggravated Sexual Assault,
2) Forcible Confinement,
3) Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
He was scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, room 412, at 10 a.m.
