At 1143 hours (Aug 6) RCMP responded to a report of a partially submerged vehicle in located in Francois Lake off Colleymont Rd. 1.5 km west of the Ferry Landing on Highway 35. Police and Rescue Services responded. A 2002 Grey Jeep Grand Cherokee, was located partially submerged in Francois Lake. A deceased male was located in the vehicle. Name is being with held until notification of Next of Kin. No other occupants are believed to be in the vehicle.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this incident.
