The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing man.

Peter Wheldrake, 50, was last seen on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at 2 p.m., in the Victoria Park Avenue/Eglinton Avenue East area.

He is described as white, 5’9”, 154 lbs., with blond hair and blue eyes. He wears black-framed glasses. He is missing his ring finger on his left hand. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with a black trim collar and black lettering on the front, and blue jeans.

Police are concerned for his safety.
