Costa Rica is expected to be home to heavy showers throughout the afternoon and evening. There are also chances of flooding and landslides. Drivers, bikers and pedestrians are forewarned to take precautionary measures while out under the sky.
The morning will experience high temperatures of 30 degree Celsius that will develop heavy black clouds that will pour down throughout the afternoon and evening. The Pacific Coast, Central Valley and Northern Zone are the most likely targets for this downpour. On the other hand, Carribean coastal region is expected to experience clear blue skies.
The national weather service has ordered extreme vigilance in areas that are likely to be hit severely with the rain and possible flooding. Areas with danger of landslides are recommended extreme caution. Avoid travelling on the following routes: Route 27 (Caldera), Route 32 (Zurquí) and Route 2 (South American)
